TouchRight is designed to work on a wide range of Android devices running Android 7.1 or higher. The app is available to download from the Google Play Store.
To get the best experience and ensure your device meets the minimum requirements, please check the following:
Operating system: Devices must run at least Android 7.1 (SDK level 25). As of September 2025, most Android devices exceed this version.
Google Play certification: Devices need to be Play Protect certified and have the official Google Play Store and Google Play Services installed. The Play Store will automatically filter out devices that don’t meet these criteria.
Software setup: TouchRight is not supported on devices using custom ROMs, Chromebooks, Chrome OS, or rooted devices.
Device type: The app is suitable for both phones and tablets.
Samsung users: On Samsung devices running Android 7.1 or higher, you can enable offline voice recognition for dictation within the app by adjusting your device’s settings.
Via Google Play Store: Visit the TouchRight app page in the Play Store. If the “Install” button is available, your device meets the minimum requirements.
Check your Android version: Go to Settings > About phone or About tablet to confirm your OS version.
Check Play Protect certification: Go to Settings > About phone > Play Protect certification to view your device’s status.
For a smoother reporting experience, we recommend devices with at least 4GB RAM and an 8MP or higher camera - whether you use Android or iOS.
