How to Manage 2FA Settings for Your Team

Keeping your account secure is a top priority and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) across your team is a great way to do just that.

As the Account Owner, you have the ability to encourage or enforce 2FA for everyone using your TouchRight account.

✅ Set 2FA to 'Encouraged' or 'Enforced'

To adjust your account-wide 2FA settings:

1. Head to Account > Settings from your dashboard


2. Scroll to the Two-Factor Login section.

3. Choose your preferred setting:
  1. Encouraged – users will be prompted to set up 2FA, but it's optional.
  2. Enforced – users must set up 2FA before continuing.


Once set, users will see a prompt the next time they log in (or immediately, if enforcement is switched on).
N.B They can skip if simply 'encouraged'.





🔄 Need to Reset Someone's 2FA?

If a team member has set up 2FA but is struggling to log in (e.g. they've lost access to their authenticator app), you can reset it for them in just a few clicks:

  1. Go to Account > Users.
  1. Find the user in the list.
  1. Click the 🔒 padlock icon next to their name

This removes their current 2FA setup, so they’ll be prompted to reconfigure it next time they log
