Supported Devices and Compatibility

TouchRight has been designed to work seamlessly across a wide range of Android and iOS devices. To help you get the best experience, please review the minimum requirements for your device before installing the app.

Android Compatibility

The TouchRight app is compatible with Android devices running Android 7.1 or higher and is available to download directly from the Google Play Store.

Compatibility Overview

To ensure your device meets the minimum requirements, check the following:

  • Operating system: Your device must run Android 7.1 (SDK level 25) or later.

  • Google Play certification: Devices must be Play Protect certified and have the official Google Play Store and Google Play Services installed.

  • Software setup: TouchRight is not supported on custom ROMs, Chromebooks, Chrome OS, or rooted devices.

  • Device type: Compatible with both phones and tablets.

  • Samsung users: On Samsung devices running Android 7.1 or higher, offline voice recognition for dictation can be enabled within device settings.

How to Check Compatibility

  • From Google Play Store: Visit the TouchRight app page on the Play Store. If your device meets the minimum requirements, the “Install” button will be active.

  • Check your Android version: Go to Settings > About phone or About tablet to view your current version.

  • Check Play Protect certification: Go to Settings > About phone > Play Protect certification to confirm your device status.

iOS Compatibility

The TouchRight app for iOS requires iOS 14.0 or later and works on any iPhone or 7th generation (or newer) iPad capable of running that version or higher. The app is available for download directly from the Apple App Store.

  • Supported devices: iPhones and 7th generation or newer iPads.

  • Dictation and speech-to-text: TouchRight supports iOS dictation features, allowing you to use built-in speech-to-text when creating reports.

How to Check Compatibility

  • Find your iOS version: On your device, go to Settings > General > About to view your current software version.

  • Confirm compatibility: If your device runs iOS 14.0 or higher, the TouchRight app will be available for download from the App Store.

Recommended Specifications

For the best performance when producing reports, we recommend using a device with:

  • At least 4GB RAM

  • An 8MP or higher camera
