What is ReportAssist?

ReportAssist uses artificial intelligence to generate instant photo descriptions and suggested condition wording during your inspection. It helps remove repetitive tasks and improves speed and consistency.

What AI can and cannot do:

AI can

  •  Analyse the visual content of a photo

  •  Suggest condition wording based on visible features

  •  Provide a fast starting point for your report

  •  Improve consistency across teams

  •  Reduce manual typing

AI cannot

  •  Smell odours such as damp, smoke, gas or pets

  •  Feel temperature changes or moisture in walls or flooring

  • Hear dripping taps, alarms, fans or electrical buzzing

  •  Test functionality such as taps, windows, locks, alarms or appliances

  •  Assess risk or determine safety compliance

  •  Provide context such as wear and tear, tenant history or previous issues

As the inspector you remain responsible for

  •  Confirming accuracy

  •  Editing wording to reflect what you found

  •  Adding any safety or compliance information

  •  Making professional decisions

  •  Signing off the final report

Report Assist AI is designed to support you, not replace you. It helps you work faster while keeping full professional control.


Key things to note:

- ReportAssist currently only works in an inventory block 
- This only works on the latest version of the mobile App on ios and Android
- You can only add 10 pictures in one row on the dashboard when trying to generate descriptions 

How to use the feature in the mobile App:

  1. Create/sync an appointment with an Inventory template selected

  2. Open an Inventory block

  3. Take a photo or upload one from your camera roll

  4. Tap Describe with AI

  5. Choose to generate: Condition, description or both

  6. Review, edit and continue as normal




How to use: Dashboard


Open an inventory report on the dashboard, if you have one previously completed on the mobile app, you can use the photos from here.

  1. Choose and upload your photos - Note: You can only add 10 photos in each row for the AI generation. Once the AI has generated, you can keep adding more
  2. Click "Describe with AI" and choose to generate: Condition, description or both
  3. These fields will be auto populated for you to edit and review as needed

Who can access this feature

Report Assist AI is available to all users who have AI enabled for their account.
