Disable, edit or delete property types

Disable, edit or delete property types

The 'property type' is used to describe the type of property you are inspecting, and can be displayed on any PDF reports that are downloaded.

It's possible to use the default property types that are in the dashboard, plus you can create your own property types and disable any that you may not want to use.

This is useful if you manage bespoke or unusual properties that are not displayed in the default list.

To access the property types

  • Select 'Properties' from the left hand side menu and then click 'Property Types' from the dropdown menu.

  • In the Actions column, you'll notice a 'x' which allows you to disable a type.

  • Once you click the button, the name will change colour to indicate it has been disabled.

  • Property Types can easily be re-enabled in the future by clicking the 'tick' button.

  • Click the 'pencil' to edit a property type, or use the bin icon to delete any customised property types if no longer required.

Please note: property types can only be deleted if they have not been used.
