To make getting started as smooth as possible, we have answered some of the most common questions about the TouchRight and Alto integration below.
Q: How do I connect my TouchRight account to Alto?
A: Log in to your Alto dashboard, navigate to the Integrations tab, and find TouchRight in the Marketplace. Click 'Tell Me More' and then 'Integrate'. You will be prompted to use your existing TouchRight credentials to bridge the two systems.
Q: Do I need a new TouchRight account to use the integration?
A: No. Existing users can link their current account. If you're new, you can start a 30-day free trial on our website before enabling the connection in Alto.
Q: Is there an extra cost for the integration?
A: Pricing for the integration is available on request. We offer two flexible options to suit your budget and cash flow: a single lifetime payment for long-term value, or a monthly recurring subscription to keep initial costs low. Contact us for a quote.
Functionality:
Q: What data actually syncs from Alto to TouchRight?
A: The integration pulls your scheduled appointments, property addresses, and relevant landlord/tenant contact details directly into the TouchRight app.
Q: Can I use the app if the property has no Wi-Fi?
A: Yes! The TouchRight app works fully offline. You can compile your report and take photos on-site; the data will sync back to the dashboard and Alto once you’re back in range of a connection.
Q: Where do the reports go once finished?
A: Once a report is finalized on the TouchRight dashboard, a branded PDF is automatically pushed back to Alto and saved in the 'Documents' section of the corresponding property record.
Troubleshooting:
Q: My appointments aren't appearing in the app. What should I do?
A: First, ensure the integration toggle is 'On' in the Alto Marketplace. Second, check that the appointment in Alto is marked as an "Inspection" or "Inventory" type, as some generic appointment types may not trigger the sync.
Q: The report didn't push back to Alto. Why?
A: Reports only push back once they are marked as 'Finalised' on the TouchRight dashboard. If it is still in 'Draft' or 'Awaiting Review' status, it will not appear in Alto yet.
